Effective date: July 14, 2026
RampRadar is operated by Blue Signal LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use RampRadar and how we use it.
If you create a RampRadar account, we collect your email address, first and last name, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text). We use this to let you save favorite ramps, set a primary ramp for quick access, and personalize your experience. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
RampRadar uses a single essential cookie to keep you logged in (httpOnly, secure, and not readable by other websites). This cookie is required for account features to work and is not used for advertising or tracking across other sites.
RampRadar uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage (e.g., how many visitors search for ramps in a given area). This helps us improve the site. We do not use this data to identify you individually. You can learn more about Google's data practices at Google's Privacy Policy.
When you search for boat ramps, we receive the search query you type (a city, county, or ZIP code). If you grant location permission in your browser, your device coordinates are used only to center the map and find nearby ramps — this is not stored on our servers or shared with third parties.
RampRadar uses Google Maps and Google Places to display interactive maps and nearby business information (such as reviews and photos). These services may collect technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) per Google's own privacy policy.
RampRadar displays publicly available data from NOAA (weather, tides) and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (red tide status, fishing regulations). No personal information is shared with these sources — we only query them for public conditions/regulatory data relevant to a given location.
If you submit a review, it is associated with your account and displayed publicly on the relevant ramp's page. If you submit a business "claim this listing" inquiry, the business name, contact email, phone, and message you provide are stored and reviewed only by RampRadar's operator — this information is not displayed publicly or shared with third parties.
In the future, RampRadar may display advertising through Google AdSense, which uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google's Ads Settings. No AdSense cookies are currently active on this site.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your information to third parties.
RampRadar is not directed at children under 13, and accounts are not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of RampRadar after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
