Why RampRadar

I'm a physical oceanographer, and I've spent years working with ocean data — including my current work as a NOAA contractor, building systems that turn raw ocean model output into something people can actually use.

RampRadar started from a personal frustration. Years of fieldwork meant spending months on the water in unfamiliar places, and every morning started the same way: pulling up the marine forecast, scrolling past everything I didn't need, hunting for my stretch of coast. I wanted something that just showed me what mattered — conditions, tides, the ramp itself — without the noise.

But it's more than forecasts. RampRadar helps you find what you actually need near the ramp — where to get ice, where to fuel up, where to grab food or supplies before you launch. Everything you need to get on the water, in one place.

So I built it. Real conditions, real tides, real ramps, real infrastructure — made by someone who needed this exact tool just as much as you do.
